Alginate Ear Casting | Making a Mold for Variety of Casting Materials

Home  |  Video learning  |  Polyurethanes

Did you know that you can cast BJB’s TC-1630 into Wet Alginate Molds to produce life castings? Starting with an alginate mold of our model’s ear, we make a casting using TC-1630 and then pull off a TC-5041 Platinum Silicone mold for future castings. This allows us to create a variety of parts using assorted BJB materials like Flex Foam, Soft Polyurethane Elastomer, Silicone, and much more!
